Popular Nigerian rapper, singer & song writer, Olamide is set to release a new project titled “IKIGAI” Vol. 1. “Ikigai” refers to the Japanese concept of the intersection of what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for.
The tracklist of the project have also been unveiled. The project will feature prominent artist such as Fireboy, Asake, Young John, Lil Kesh, Sabri & Pheelz. The list of featured artist, are artist who are members and past member of the record label “YBNL Nation”. This brings a sense of unity once again as they set to showcase there musical abilities in the forthcoming project.
Olamide’s “IKIGAI” Vol. 1 adds to his rich discography of albums, EPs, and singles released over the years. He released his last album, titled “Unruly,” in 2023.“Unruly” broke boundaries in the music scene both national and international. With singles such as “Amapiano” featuring Asake, “Shibebe” featuring Fireboy, “Celebration”, “Ginga” etc., the album was a stand out one.
