Nigerian street-hop sensation Seyi Vibez has kicked off 2025 with a bang, releasing a surprise four-track EP titled Children of Africa. This unexpected drop marks a significant milestone for the artist. It is his first project since parting ways with Dapper Music in 2024. He released the EP under his own label, No Seyi No Vibez INC, in collaboration with digital giant EMPIRE.
“Children of Africa” showcases Seyi Vibez’s versatility, blending his signature Afrobeats, and Hip Hop with a fresh twist. The EP features four tracks: “Mario Kart,” “Shaolin,” “Happy Song,” and “Macho,” the latter of which includes a guest appearance by American rapper NLE Choppa. Production credits go to Larrylanes and Semzi, a departure from his usual collaborators TBM and Dibs.
Fans have well-received the EP, with Shaolin emerging as an early favorite for its fast-paced, street-influenced vibe. Seyi Vibez’s ability to seamlessly transition between energetic anthems and more introspective tracks like “Happy Song” highlights his mastery of melodies and emotional depth.
