Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter D’banj is releasing his highly anticipated album, “The Entertainer D’Sequel,” on August 16, 2024. Best known for his ‘Oliver Twist’ hit record, Dbanj’s new album, ‘The Entertainer: D’Sequel’, shares the same title as his 2008 album. This marks his sixth studio album and follows his previous work, “The Entertainer.”
D’banj’s upcoming album features remakes of his classic hits, showcasing his evolution as an artist while paying homage to his earlier work. D’banj, whose full name is Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, has been a significant figure in the Nigerian music scene since he began his career in 2004 with the Mo’ Hits label. D’banj blends Afrobeat, R&B, and pop elements in his music, earning him a broad fan base in Nigeria and internationally. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser suggesting a collaboration with Don Jazzy.
