Two of Nigeria’s most prominent Afro-fusion stars, BNXN (formerly known as Buju) and Rema, have joined forces for their first collaboration, “Fi Kan We Kan.” The music industry has long anticipated their collaboration, which has finally come to fruition.
Earlier this month, BNXN teased the collaboration by sharing a chat between him and Rema on social media. This teaser set the stage for fans and music enthusiasts to anticipate a collaboration between the two. Many collaborations have been highly anticipated in the music industry, and this one is among them.
The title of the new single, “Fi Kan We Kan,” is a Yoruba phrase that means “comparing something with something,” & also lays emphasis on “settling dues”. The release of this single follows the success of BNXN’s previous hit, “Phenomenon.”
The track was produced by Blaizebeats. “Fi Kan We Kan” marks a significant milestone for both BNXN and Rema as they continue to lead the charge in promoting Afrobeats on the global stage.
