Nigerian singer and songwriter Fireboy DML has officially unveiled the tracklist for his much-awaited fourth studio album titled “Adedamola”. The album is set to be released on August 29, 2024, two years after his successful third album “Playboy”.
Fireboy announced the release date and album title on his social media accounts on August 19, 2024. The album’s title “Adedamola” is Fireboy’s first name, suggesting a more personal thematic approach.
The tracklist reveals that “Adedamola” will include singles like “Yawa” and “Obaa Sima” released in 2023, as well as his most recent single “Everyday”. The album only features only five guest artists such as Seun Kuti, Spinall, Jon Batiste, Lagbaja and Lojay. Olamide also plays a crucial role in the album as being part of the executive producers and A&R.
Since his 2019 debut with “Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps,” Fireboy has solidified his place as a leading figure in Nigerian music. “Adedamola” reveals more of Fireboy, building on the soulful lyrics and melodies that have earned him a loyal fanbase.
