Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems has announced the rescheduled release date for her highly anticipated debut album, “Born in the Wild.” Originally slated for May 2024, the album will now drop on June 7, 2024, via Since ’93/RCA Records.
“This is my most special moment. Everything I have I put into this. Thank you all so much for believing in me. BORN IN THE WILD. JUNE 7th,” she wrote on her social media accounts, with her post also revealing the album artwork. The post also unveiled the album artwork, featuring Tems emerging from a dark background.
Tems: Debut Album & World Tour Announcement
To support the album, Tems will embark on her first world tour, aptly named the “Born in the Wild World Tour.” The tour will commence on June 12, 2024, at London’s Eventim Apollo and traverse Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia, concluding in Australia with three dates in November.
The European leg of the tour will include stops in Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Cologne, Zurich, Milan, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, and Porto. The North American leg will feature shows in major cities such as Miami, New York, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
Tems will be joined by special guests Naomi Sharon and Lekan on the tour Tickets for the Born in the Wild World Tour will be available for purchase on May 17, 2024, at 10 a.m. local time.
While the album’s tracklist hasn’t received official confirmation, fans anticipate it will feature previously released singles such as “Love Me Jeje,” “Me & U,” and “Not an Angel,” along with collaborations with Wizkid, Future, Drake, and Rihanna.
Tems’ debut album and world tour represent a significant milestone in her career, positioning her to take the music world by storm with “Born in the Wild.”
